Councilman-At-Large Carl Hokanson began his term as a member of the Council on January 7, 2009. Carl is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Municipal Budget & Finance and Technology Committees. He is also the Council Liaison to the Welfare, Animal Control and Environmental Commission. Councilman Hokanson is retired from the position of Lieutenent in the Roselle Park Police Department. Carl is an officer in the Knights of Columbus, member of the Father Loretti Church of the Assumption,Accident Resonstructionists and Union County Traffic Officers Association.
Carl is a life long resident of the Borough and a graduate of the Roselle Park School System. He is married to Anita Iungerman and has four sons, Christopher, Johnathan, Matthew and Ryan.
