The Ridley Park Democratic Committee proudly endorses its slate of candidates for the upcoming primary election. Our candidates for mayor and leadership of borough council are:

Linda Smith - Mayor

Linda has lived in Ridley Park for 17 years.  She served as borough councilor for 2 years, currently serves as Vice President of the Friends of the Ridley Park Library, and sits on the Youth Aid Panel of Ridley Park. (Read more!

Dan Broadhurst (Incumbent) - Borough Council

Dan is a lifelong Ridley Park resident with a degree in business management from East Stroudsburg University.  He is a sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry. (Read more!

Dane Collins - Borough Council

Dane is a lifelong Ridley Park resident.  He is a licensed attorney working as a legal and compliance officer with The Haverford Trust Company. (Read more!)

Andy Furman - Borough Council

Andy has lived in Ridley Park for 24 years.  He has a degree in accounting from Shippensburg University and an MBA from Drexel University.  He works in finance with SEPTA, and has been involved with the Ridley Park AC (coach, treasurer) and Ridley HS Soccer Boosters (treasurer, president). Matthew Stepanic - Borough Council

Matt, a proud new resident of Ridley Park, has lived in Delaware county for 10 years.  He has over 25 years of experience in financial business, engineering and automotive manufacturing.  He currently works for TD Bank managing Store Strategy & Transformation.  His education includes an MBA and mechanical engineering degree. Mike Taddei - Borough Council (2-Year Term)

Mike Taddei has lived in Ridley Park for 18 years.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and works as a project manager and corporate trainer in information technology with Experian Health. (Read more!

Former borough councilor and current committee co-chair, Jeanne Frantz, said, “We are proud to offer such a strong and talented group of candidates to lead the community toward sustained fiscal strength, the revitalization of our downtown business district, rebuilding respect for citizens, and caring for our beautiful lake and parks.  I am excited, along with many residents of this historic community, by the vision to raise Ridley Park to new heights as an attractive community for a new generation of families and homeowners.”
